About Ishwar Panchang
The short version
Ishwar Panchang gives Hindu festival dates and the daily panchang calculated for UK cities, side by side with India, in plain English. It is free, with no ads and no sign-in.
Why it exists
We want to bring Hindu families living outside India closer to their traditions. Read our mission.
Many families in the UK use calendars made for India. When a UK sunrise falls after a lunar day has changed, the right day here can be different, and times can be an hour out around the clock changes. We work out every date for your own city, show India’s date next to it, and say why when they differ.
Who runs it
Ishwar Panchang is run by VMARS Group Ltd, a small independent UK company. See how we get the dates right.
